Abstract:
This research work is aimed at understanding the role of psychological factors in the determination of consumer behavior. It is an attempt to integrate psychological and economic knowledge with a view to resolving significant issues in contemporary business practice. The consumer is presented as a complex social and mental being. At the core of its activity numerous mental properties and processes involved in the mechanism of motivation are identified. The reasoning relied on various theoretical interpretations of various authors
