Abstract:

The article deals with the right to be forgotten (the so-called "right to oblivion") on the Internet, arising out of the precedent of the European Court Of Justice in 2014. The paper explores origins of the right to be forgotten. The article provides an analysis of foreign and Russian experience of legal regulation of this problem. It is concluded that the regulation of the right to be forgotten needs further improvement.
